Descriptif : The establishment of the joint supervision of a thesis involving the two universities aims at strengthening the international dimension of the doctoral schools, promoting the mobility doctoral students and developing scientific cooperation between French and foreign research laboratories. The thesis will finish with a single thesis defence, the result of which will be recognized by the two institutions. Doctoral students conduct their research under the supervision and responsibility of a thesis supervisor in each of the two institutions. Following a successful thesis defence and considering the examination report, the two universities will separately award the doctoral degree.
