This presentation will provide an opportunity to:
• Explain what research data are
• Give elements to understand the stakes and limits of open data
• Describe the legal framework of research data
• Show the expectations of funders in terms of data and openness (Europe, ANR, etc.)
• Present tools to help with data management

• Research Data: A Typology
• Research Data and the Open Science Movement
• The Data Act and other directives and framework texts
• Data management plans in calls for proposals
• Tools and resources for working with data.
