Leads the Train System’s Technical Development & Validation throughout the development cycle and lifecycle of projects.
Ensures train performances fulfil customer & regulatory requirements and is the main focal point to the customer for train performance & functionality topics.
Is accountable for Train Reliability, for LCC target achievement, for Cybersecurity, for Validation and Engineering contribution to Certification & Authorization.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as main technical focal point for the customer for train performance topics, and leads the train system development and validation (operability analysis, system definition and architecture, performances, functions).
The main activities to be performed by the TPM are the followings : ensure conversion of customer and regulatory requirements into train level requirements & specifications; lead operational analysis and development of a consistent set of train level requirements according to the Alstom standards; lead functional analysis, and verify that the specifications and architectures at train and system levels are satisfying the inputs requirements.
For this, the TPM lead the requirements specification and allocation to sub-system level, including electrical & functional interfaces definition. He gives a support to System Engineers and ensures that Sub-Systems’ design is converging toward specified targets along project life cycle convergence, including during the verification and validation activities.
